Dreamforce ‘22 delivered on every possible level!

If you’ve attended the annual Salesforce conference, Dreamforce, then you know it’s a legendary, near revival-style gathering. Salesforce built their reputation as a best-in-class Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software company, and they’re amazing at practicing all that they preach.

They build tools to keep us close to our customers, they also demonstrate loyalty and appreciation for their customers by telling stories, highlighting “Trailblazers,” and surprising customers with on-stage recognition. It’s a love fest spread over three days.

This update from Forbes provides the nuts and bolts of the new products and enhancements announced, but here are my personal Top 5 moments from attending DF22:

5. I was asked the week prior to listen to a dry run of Marc Benioff’s Dreamforce presentation and provide feedback. Hearing changes I’d suggested incorporated into his keynote presentation? Not gonna lie: kinda cool.

4. Seeing a personal hero, Andre Iguodala, and his podcast partner Evan Turner interviewed live from the floor of the conference.

3. Attending Alibaba’s jaw-dropping presentation regarding the power of 11:11 day. It’s unofficially “bachelor shopping day” in China and is 8x Black Friday! 😳

2. Witnessing the power of Slack 2022. Collaborations with Huddles and Canvas move Slack far beyond team communication. Teams now have the ability to share info and meet seamlessly. It’s stunningly efficient.

1. Genie, Genie, Genie! This platform creates a “single source of truth” that combines all data sources—in real-time—to help us make decisions. I’m sure my developer friends will say it’ll take a lot of work to get there, but as a front-end sales and relationship aficionado, the possibilities seemed infinite.

Yes, my friends, I drank all of the Salesforce Kool-Aid!
